Velsmiðja Orms og Viglundar has two floating docks, details above. We are offering a complete service for fishery and smaller cargo ships. We can provide spare parts and other material. It has been an increase in foreign trawlers and ship in the last few years, we have tried to reduce the repair time for foreign fishery who are fishing in the North Atlantic.
We can take heavy ships in our bigger dock (I). One of the ships we had in our dock is Markus, it is the second lagest shrimp trawler in the world. Length : 70 m, Width : 16,2 m, draft : 8,5 m and weight about 5.000 tons.
